You are viewing a sweet, marked sterling, mesh purse on a chain. The purse has a two ball clasp with the balls being a bit dented which does not affect the functionality or the beauty of the piece. The front of frame has a floral Art Nouveau design and the back is inscribed with the former owner’s name, “Julie Marie Halm Krez,” (1891-1966). The purse measures 5 3/4 inches high and 5 3/4 inches wide at the frame, with a bag drop of 7 1/4 inches long. The purse comes in a presentation from John Wannemaker. I am not sure if it the original box the purse came in, but it is certainly age appropriate. The purse wasn’t able to fit entirely on my scale, but I did get a reading of 103.21 grams, but I’m sure it’s more. This is a great piece, looking for a new home
