Essentially the DI canister is polishing off the remaining TDS of the membrane and therefore fewer TDS out of the membrane making the DI last longer & perform at a peak filtration rate.
- UNPARALLELED QUALITY:- This supreme anion resin is a Type I strongly basic gel resin with an indicator dye that changes from Blue to light brown as the resin exhausts. This makes it easier to know when to replace the DI. Comes in air-sealed multi layered packaging to ensure a shelf life of 1 year. The cation component is a strong acid sulfonated polystyrene gel type cation exchange resin.
- EXTREME DURABLILITY:- Our LiquaGen transparent canister filters for aquarium housing is made with an almost unbreakable polyethelyene which mitigates cracking if the cartridge is accidentally dropped. This special housing allows for an internal viewing of the resin, which will help monitor when it gets depleted.
